Our ski courses for children start from the age of 5 and are led by specially trained ski instructors. In small groups and with a lot of patience, we teach the little ones how to ski step by step and at a pace that suits their ability. In addition to learning success, the focus is on fun and safety.

A private ski course is the most effective way to learn to ski or improve your technique. Our experienced ski instructors adjust the lessons precisely to your ability, goals and pace for maximum learning success and fun on the slopes. Whether you are a beginner, returning to skiing or a professional, private lessons give you the attention you need and help you learn quickly.
How a private ski lesson works
A private lesson is the most individual and effective way to learn to ski or improve your technique. Our experienced ski instructors at the ski school Sunshine adjust the lessons precisely to your ability, goals and pace – for maximum learning success and fun on the slopes.
Duration
A private lesson lasts 55 minutes. A double lesson lasts 110 minutes (1 hour 50 minutes).
Meeting point & welcome
You will meet your ski instructor from the Ski School Sunshine at the agreed meeting point – for example, directly at the mountain station in the Merano 2000 ski area, in the Schwemmalm ski area or in the Schnalstal ski area. After a brief welcome, we will discuss your goals, your skiing ability and any specific requests you may have.
Individual assessment
During the first few metres, your ski instructor will get a clear picture of your skiing style. This allows the lessons to be adjust to your needs, whether you are a beginner, advanced or returning skier.
Targeted technique training
Depending on your level, we will train specific techniques: from the basic position to parallel skiing, carving and short turns. Our ski instructors make the most of private lessons and work with clear, understandable exercises, building confidence and encouraging your progress with a great deal of empathy
Personal feedback
During the lesson, you will receive continuous feedback and specific tips for improvement. On request, we also use video analysis – particularly helpful for ambitious skiers.
Individual pace & flexible content
Whether you prefer a leisurely or sporty pace, we adapt the intensity and choice of slopes to your preferences.
Conclusion & outlook
At the end of the lesson, there will be a short feedback session, recommendations for further training and the opportunity to book your next lesson with the Ski School Sunshine.

Want to take your skiing technique to the next level? Then you have the chance to train with a real world champion! Our ski instructor Lucas Kuntner is the 2021 FIS Master World Champion and teaches exclusively at the Ski School Sunshine in Merano and surroundings.
Whether you are an ambitious amateur athlete, a young racer or a technique fan, individual race training gives you exclusive insights into professional movement sequences, line selection, tactics and equipment coordination. The training sessions take place in the most beautiful ski areas of South Tyrol, such as the Merano 2000 ski area, the Schwemmalm ski resort or the Schnalstal ski area.

Ideal for sporty connoisseurs who want more than just kilometres of slopes.
Procedure & organisation
Our ski tours and day trips are adjust to you and your group. Depending on the destination, the meeting point is directly in the ski resort or on request including transfer organisation. These are popular tour destinations outside the Merano 2000 ski area, the Schwemmalm ski area and the Schnalstal ski area.
Our certified ski instructors will guide you safely through the day, show you the most beautiful runs, give you technical tips and tell you exciting background information about the region and its history. The group size can be flexible – ideally 1 to a maximum of 6 people per ski instructor
Prerequisite
confident parallel skiing on red slopes.
The daily rate for an exclusive ski guide is €800 per ski instructor (day pass & meals for the ski instructor not included).
