General Terms and Conditions (GTC) of the ski school
1. Registration and booking
Courses can be booked online or by telephone. By booking, you accept our General Terms and Conditions. Participation in courses is only possible once the course fee has been paid in full.
2. Withdrawal and cancellation
Cancellation is free of charge up to 48 hours before the start of the course. In the event of cancellation at short notice (less than 48 hours), the full course fee will be charged. In the event of illness or injury, a rebooking or refund can be made upon presentation of a medical certificate.
3. Course cancellation due to weather conditions or force majeure
Courses generally take place in all weather conditions. In the event of weather-related or other unforeseeable circumstances (e.g. avalanche danger, lift shutdown), we reserve the right to cancel or postpone courses. In this case, an alternative date will be offered or the course fee will be refunded in full.
4. Safety and equipment
Participants are required to attend the course with suitable equipment and appropriate clothing. Wearing a helmet is strongly recommended and is required by law for those under the age of 18. Participation is at your own risk. Parents are liable for their children.
5. Liability
The ski school is not liable for accidents, injuries or damage occurring during the course or as a result of participation, unless there is gross negligence or intent on our part. In addition, each course participant must have valid liability insurance covering damage to third parties (in accordance with Art. 30 of Legislative Decree No. 40/2021). We also recommend that you take out personal accident insurance.
6. Group courses
Group courses take place with a minimum of 6 participants. If there are too few participants, we reserve the right to combine groups or shorten the course time.
7. Data protection
Personal data will be used exclusively for course administration and customer information purposes and will not be passed on to third parties. By making a booking, you agree to our data protection policy.
Information letter in accordance with GDPR 2016/679
In accordance with Art. 13 of the GDPR 2016/679 on the protection of personal data, your data will be treated in accordance with the principles of correctness, legality and transparency, taking into account your privacy and your rights. In accordance with Art. 13 of the GDPR 2016/679, the following guidelines apply to data processing:

2. Purpose of data processing
The data controller processes your personal data (first name, surname, email, telephone number), which has been collected on the basis of commercial and contractual relationships and/or enquiries about our services/offers, for the following purposes:
Execution of pre-contractual and contractual measures and obligations, fulfilment of tax and legal obligations.
3. Legal basis for data processing
Data processing is lawful because:
it is necessary for the performance of a contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures;
it is necessary for the fulfilment of a legal obligation.
4. Consequences of failure to provide personal data
Incomplete data transfer will result in the non-fulfilment of pre-contractual and contractual obligations.
5. Duration of storage
The data will be stored until the contract has been fulfilled and then deleted, unless otherwise required for tax and legal reasons.
6. Transfer of data
The data will be processed and transferred internally by authorised persons using electronic systems or in paper form. The data will be stored in internal digital and IT archives and in any case on Italian territory. Your data may be transferred to: consultants (legal, economic and tax advisors), banking institutions, website administrators, IT administrators and IT consultants, shipping services and all those whose services are essential for the purposes mentioned above (point 2) and to fulfil legal obligations. If required or requested by law, to judicial authorities or other bodies.
7. Transfer to third countries
Personal data will not be transferred to third countries.
8. Existence of automated decision-making processes
The processing of your data is not subject to automated decision-making, including profiling.
9. Rights of the data subject
The data subject has the right at any time:
to obtain information in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR about the data collected and corresponding information, to correct, update or delete it if necessary;
to obtain restriction of processing or to lodge an objection to processing;
where possible, to receive the personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, as well as to exercise all other rights granted by law (right to data portability);
to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
